The first gig we ever played with Josh was at "Room 5" in Los Angeles, on a rinny-tin-tin upright piano, and it paid $25. After the gig he gave me a big hug and said, "that was a blast, let's do it again soon!". It was then and there I knew he was a keeper! Josh went on to write numerous work-of-art songs for our band, and also plays the glockenshpiel on some of our tunes. What a genius.
Josh survived the Northridge Earthquake of 1994, and he survived the big tour that we had to promote "Yours" in 2005. Josh is a survivor! He is one of 2 people in a musical/magic show, can be seen playing piano on the season finale of "Curb Your Enthusiasm", is a FABULOUS impersonator (particularly Will Ferrel as Rober Goulet), was a finalist in the 2006 Thelonious Monk Piano Competition, and is one of my closest friends. We love Josh. If you want more info on him, visit www.joshnelsonmusic.com
