True story: I asked Hamilton to be in my band before we'd officially met. I heard him play a few times, but I'd never introduced myself. He is THAT good. I remember I REALLY listened when he played. His soloing is dynamic and musical, and his bass lines are so strong and rooted. Ham is one of the best young bassists in LA - he regularly plays with Billy Childs and Geoff Keezer.
A few special facts about
Hamilton Price? His real name is Herbert Hamilton Price. He is addicted to hot sauce. He plays the tuba. He is a fabulous sight reader and arco player. He is a serious improv comedian (but didn't know it until he met me) and has a dry wit that I personally find very endearing. He was raised in the South (Arkansas proper) and is a fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks (??). Never heard of em. But you'll hear of Hamilton. Surely. The price is right. For more info visit
